Technology Century: Online Tech Opens Indianapolis Data Center

Company officials said the new data center improves the geographic diversity of its backup and disaster recovery operations. The decision to open the new center, they said, was driven by strong demand for its specialized hosting and cloud services for companies and institutions that must comply with data regulations under federal laws and corporate standards like HIPAA, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Payment Card Industry standards, and others.

The company says the 44,000-square-foot center represents a $10 million investment. The new data center will also create up to 25 permanent jobs for local IT, sales and data center professionals.
