Colocation Monitoring - OTMonitor
OTMonitor, included in our Colocation Plus+ package, is our clientless, global monitoring service that relentlessly monitors your web, application, database, and server performance, uptime, and end-user experience 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our hassle-free solution requires no software to load on your server and is based on WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) and SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).
OTMonitor provides historical and real-time trends through OTPortal, our client portal. OTMonitor also checks services or resources for capacity of each specified device, including CPU, memory, or disk space, and sends alerts and notifications as thresholds are reached.
Upon finding an outage or out-of-range performance benchmark, OTMonitor sends a message to one or more of your staff's e-mail or cell phone. Unresolved issues can be escalated to other responders, including Online Tech engineers, until they are addressed.
OTMonitor is included with our managed dedicated servers and can be added to your colocation server for a small monthly fee. It is also included in OTManage - our managed colocation service staffed by our engineers who manage the alarms and respond first to any monitored event.
